This was a pure delight for my wife, myself, and my son. We spent 2 nights there and we were a little skeptical since there was no reviews and the pictures were not conclusive. The bed was comfortable (best we had in Europe so far) and the shower was very nice. The room was rustic (as we would say in the US), very woodsy. There was a great deal of room with a bedroom, frontroom with couch/sleeper, and a small kitchen with a table. We weren't expecting a refrigerator and microwave, so that was a bonus. Restaurants are expensive in France, so it was nice to go the grocery store and purchase items from the deli and eat at the BB. The owners went out of their way to be hospitable and provide a nice stay. The breakfast was also very nice. Their location was 5 minute walk from the bus which takes you into Strasbourg. We went to Paris the week before and enjoyed Strasbourg more. If we would return to Strasbourg, we would definitely stay at this BB and recommend it to others.
Very helpful and friendly host, lovely house and very conveniently located just a short distance from the city center - easily accessible by tram/car.
Very beautiful Alsatian house, decorated with great taste. Quiet street, no noise. Charming welcome. The rooms are perfect, large and very well equipped. We would have liked a breakfast with more bread, but ignore this comment, we are sporty and we like invigorating breakfasts since we do not have lunch at noon. This is a parenthesis. For the rest, we recommend this beautiful house.
Very pleasant, cozy, clean, comfortable room in a typical Alsatian building. Close to Strasbourg. The charming welcome, the copious breakfast (very good and local products), and welcome advice for visits to the surroundings. One night was enough for us to want to come back!
