I was immediately charmed by the entrance to the hotel! We were immediately greeted and were made to feel most welcome! The rooms are spacious and the attention to detail was beyond compare.
My husband and I found that this hotel is very centrally located to the beauty of Strasbourg. And the stroll to town is lovely.
I loved this hotel and if we are fortunate enough to return . We would definitely stay at this lovely hotel.
This hotel has been by far my best hotel experience in Europe. The trilingual staff (English, French, and German) are so incredibly helpful and kind. Specific example - I mentioned that I loved the coffee at breakfast and a member of the staff (I believe his name is Kevin) got the brand and the location of the shop, brought the bag to show me, and recommended other local coffee shops in the area- all without me asking.
The rooms were very clean with beautiful furniture, complimentary water, juice, and coffee, and a very comfortable bed. We were also offered a room upgrade twice, both times paying under the advertised amount for the rooms.
The hotel was located very centrally within Strasbourg and in a very picturesque area. The only critical comment that I have is that breakfast was a little pricey at €22/person; that being said it was well stocked, fresh, tasty, and the service was impeccable.
All in all a wonderful experience!
Great place to stay in Petite France area of Strasbourg.
Staff is professional and facility is clean. There were issues with our reservation upon checking in, but staff had an excellent attitude and took us in regardless.
Room had giant chandelier. Water and juice is complimentary in room.
Beautiful courtyard and well hidden spa and bar.
Will say it gets noisy if your room is facing the street and it is main walkway around town. Also close to a school yard with kids playing and early construction across the street.
Beware as main gate closes at midnight for security, and can be challenging to find your way in if you don't know the way.
But otherwise, outstanding trip. Thanks for the adaptability.
Fabulous decor and location - charming, helpful, warm staff- one little problem with room 22 which is lovely: it's beams. I'm the bathroom one can bang one's head easily as well as in the entrance The night table is behind and far from the sleeper. I don't know about the other rooms however.
We very much enjoyed our stay & were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful, luxurious & spacious the rooms were. The staff were fantastic & very helpful. We would highly recommend the hotel to our friends & other travellers. Very good value for the price. Our thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Jung & the staff for such a wonderful experience.
