Not sure where to start. First, this is a true ski N/ski out. You are close to the lift and the gondola as the hotel off the Stampede run (green.) The boot drying room and ski storage is steps away from the slope.
Our condo was very nice and had everything we needed. I was in three others and they were equally as nice. The customer service was great. If we needed something, a staff member was there! I thought that I left a vest in the boot room. A staff member walked by the hot tub (where I was,) so I flagged her down. I asked her if it had been turned in. Literally, five minutes later, the person I spoke with brought it over to me! Now that's customer service!
Since it is part of the mountain resorts, you have access to a great shuttle. It's super easy to call for a shuttle… It's an app.
It was a great place to stay and if I'm ever in steamboat, I'll stay there again! Book now!
The place is nice, sure. Bit old now, but it's still lovely. The real gem of staying at Chateau Chamonix is Al - the caretaker, porter and all-round fabulous guy. If you read this before you arrive and then see Al, please, please, please, tell him hello from British Nick. Absolute legend.
Right on the slopes, with a boot and ski storage room. Walk right out onto the slopes. Al, Michelle, and the rest of the staff were awesome. They made everyone feel right at home.
Great location, amenities and staff. Easiest ski vacation.
This place is awesome! Ski in/out. Nice rooms, kitchens, patios. Not too far up the hill, so it's a do able walk from the base. Amazing views. Great hot tub and pool as well as sauna. Walking distance to a small store/liquor/beer and lots of restaurants and bus rides to big grocery chains. The greatest part about this place is AL. He is awesome. Very rarely will we ever meet someone like this man in our lifetime! One of the kindest, caring, individuals I've ever met. Once you meet him, when you see him, you'll have a smile on your face. It's exceptional customer service at its best.
