Exceptional place to stay. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Clean, spacious, and neatly kept. The vintage facade adds all the charm. Beds were comfy, shower was hot and had plenty of pressure. The owners were pleasant, friendly, and humorous. Offering us a warm place to hang in between check out and our departure from town. We will definitely stay again.
From the minute we arrived the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They accommodated all of our needs. The rooms were very clean, well maintained and the location is placed perfectly in the heart of downtown Steamboat with great walkability to shops and restaurants. The free bus ride to the mountain is directly across from the lodge as well. I highly recommend staying at the Nordic Lodge if you’re coming to Steamboat Springs.
The Nordic Lodge is an exceptionally managed establishment that has repeatedly exceeded expectations for a hotel. It has the most convenient access off of the main road, plenty of parking, super clean rooms with real furniture, comfortable bedding and towels, and an AWESOME hot tub. Upon entering the lobby at check-in, the staff are people that you want as friends - they're glad you're there, know what's going on around, can give you a recommendation for any meal for any time of day, and genuinely want you to have a good time. Cleanliness, convenience, and hospitality, that's what keeps me coming back to The Nordic Lodge.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff has the nicest and most helpful people I have ever encountered at a hotel. This has become my go-to lodging whenever I'm in Steamboat.
This is the best place to stay in Steamboat because they are dog friendly and conveniently located downtown. On top of that, the staff are some of the nicest and caring people I've ever encountered staying in a hotel. I appreciate the extra effort they put into making you feel right at home. The furniture is all custom made and absolutely beautiful. They took time to embroider the sheets which I know some people don't care about, but to me it shows how much they care and put their heart into what they do. The place is clean and I felt completely safe staying here even though our country is in the midst of a pandemic. I highly recommend this place!
