We stayed at the Hotel Valley Orchid for 4 nights, and were very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding places to visit in Srinagar and around. The hotel is very clean throughout, and our room was spacious with everything that we needed. Breakfast was substantial, and suited all tastes. The hotel is quiet, and is situated near to main tourist attraction Dal lake, and a main central market Lalchowk . We would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
Stayed here for 4 days. The room was small but spacious enough. It was very cold inside the room than outside. Bed has good heaters. The room service was good. But they did not clean the room after each day. There was hot water around the clock. But electricity kept on fluctuating, coming and going. There is inverter though to one light and plug point. The staff was so cool and helpful. This hotel is much better than many hotels in srinagar
