I have no idea how the place is highly rated, a few rooms are good ( the lawn view side) the others are completely obsolete. No views, taps not working, no toiletries provided(dental kit etc.) Food service is so delayed that a toast and tea can take 15 mins, water bottles take ages to come. The guy at reception is as rude as one can be with a pasted smile on his face always, despite doing nothing to improve the experience. Hall is good, the lawn is even better. With a little effort would have been a good place to stay at.
Surely changing hotels next time I visit. Thanks only to the two waiting staff who at least tried to make the experience less unpleasant.
It's a good place to host gathering with minimum people.

Good and accessible location on banks of jehlum. Walking distance from city centre. Clean rooms with good customer care. Room prices on higher side like most Kashmiri hotels.
