Fantastic restaurant. I had the lamb kebab/skewers with gnocchi and salad . Cooked perfectly { in my opinion) others might like them cooked for a few minutes extra. The accompanying sauce was sweet but not sickly. We're going there again later in the week and I will not even look at the menu...... Lamb kebabs, lamb kebabs, lamb kebabs.
I stayed at Fortuna during a 3 day visit to Split and was very impressed! The building does not look like much from the outside, but the guest rooms are of excellent quality. The room was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. The furnishings were all in great shape. I would highly recommend Fortuna. We had a room with a balcony; the street outside is a little noisy, but is not a problem when the windows are closed. The noise didn't bother us at all.
Toni assisted us with check in and was very helpful during our stay! The hospitality was top-notch.
Fortuna is less than a 5 minute walk from Old Town and about a 10 minute walk to the ferry port and bus station. It was an easy walk for us with suitcases from the ferry port to Fortuna. Note that there is no elevator in the building, so you will have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to reach Fortuna.
What an amazing appartment! We traveled a lot around the world and we have seen a lot rooms, but non with this good quality for the price. It has a perfect location, it's is new, it is clean, the bed sleeps great, the decoration is nice and I could go on for a while like this. I would for sure recommend it.
Do not let the out side of the apartment disappoint you, the room inside is so nice , clean and luxurious.
