Most romantic place I have ever been to. If you ski ⛷ you HAVE to stay here; especially if on your honeymoon. Get a room with a fireplace, not worth it if you don't.
Great for kids too...lots of kids could not hear them in rooms, was very soundproof. If I had small kids or even a teenage crowd with me, this is one of the places I would go. Lots of activities for young kids in their hotel and even a teen room.
Oh vey! What a beautiful hotel and surrounding area! I really do think I'm in heaven. It's has such a beautiful grounds and surrounding area, that I can't imagine at this point after being in Paris, Scotland, Ireland and London, a more beautiful place; this US location stakes up against them. It's just so serene and beautiful. The rooms are ideal for a family and you could probably share two rooms together and have a big nice family dinner; the kitchens are amazing. You have a washer, dryer inside your room and a fireplace. Wow, just wow!
The surrounding area is so gorgeous, right outside the doors are the gondolas to go up the mountain where California and Nevada divide. What you get up on the mountain there's a bunch of ski activities like a climbing wall, zip line, and just area that you can play with the kids and enjoy your time. If you wanted some adult time there is a little bar there was food and like a little cafeteria-style area.
Also this location is a stone throw away from a grocery store, a theater and a lot of restaurants! I mean in a 2 minute walking distance. Love the outdoor seating areas too...not only on the grounds of the hotel but in the center of the area outside of the hotel. One secret, I parked on the backside of the casino, so I didn’t have to pay for parking. It literally was right there across from my door. Plan accordingly!
Superb location especially if your planning to hit the slopes, the gondola for Heavenly ski resort is just outside the hotel. A lot of choices for restaurants who have outdoor dining and take outs Raleys grocery is also about a block away. Staff is always super friendly. Rooms are awesome.
You definitely can't pass this place up! The staff is super friendly and the hotel is clean and we'll maintained. If you have plans for a ski trip, just minutes away you have the gondola, conveniently next to you to take a scenic rude up to Heavenly!
Shops and dining also surrounds this beautiful place. You can easily jump from one area to another in a breeze.
Back to the hotel. Loretta at the concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very kind hearted women as well. If you have any questions please stop by her booth and ask for her. Tell her that Rey referred you (not sure if my name carries any weight) but I can assure you she will make your/ family stay as wonderful as ours!

One more thing... This place is SUPER SANITIZED!!! The optics alone will remind you to practice a healthy hygiene lifestyle. By means of cleaning your area and picking up after yourself for the safety of those who share your surroundings!
Full amenities time share/hotel. Great facilities, rooms, pool and hot tub, modern fitness facility. Shopping and restaurants all within a short walking distance. Gondola to Heavenly ski resort literally right next door. Need to upgrade TV's for smart apps like Netflix and larger screens, but it's a Marriott branded hotel/timeshare.
