This is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it. However, be aware that it is not a 4 star hotel. It is a nice 3 star hotel, but it is missing the amenities one expects at a 4 star hotel: no 24 hour front desk, no concierge, no restaurant on site, and no spa. So definitely don't expect a 4 star level of service.
I was not able to suggest an edit to the incorrect star rating on this listing but hopefully this review will help someone.
Rooms are cleaned and spotless as well as the bathrooms. Location was great with only being a short distance from the lake. Staff are very friendly as well. Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a good place to stay that isn't overpriced.

Would absolutely love to come back here. The location is very close to everything in South Lake Tahoe while being a bit quieter and slightly off the beaten path. Quick drive to any of the beaches or hiking trails. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance, plus a Whole Foods. The courtyard was the perfect area to relax, grab a ground floor room for easy access. Exceptionally dog friendly. Great kitchenette area with dishes, mini fridge, microwave, and keurig. Everything was very clean and due to covid self check in was available.
Room smelled clean and fresh.
In a good location, so many things close by.
Its good in the summer too.
