I love this hotel! From the large lodge feel when you walk-in to the intimate cabins situated within a meticulously maintained garden, this hotel offers such a peaceful setting for travelers and locals alike! I've photographed multiple events here and I can't rave more about how beautiful the images turn out because of the setting they've created.
What a gem! Our stay was perfect! Spent my bday here and I couldn’t have been happier. Stayed in The Hideout Cabin and the staff left a sweet bday surprise for me :) So so cozy, clean and a great layout. We had zero complaints and THE STAFF was so kind and accommodating. I’m just so happy to have stayed here! Thank you Black Bear Lodge!!
We felt so welcome here! Katie and Bree helped us our tremendously with our stay and they went above and beyond. The place was exceptionally clean and we had a fantastic time. We would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at Black Bear Lodge was perfect! The rooms were stylish and cozy with a fire place. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. We enjoyed the cozy feel of the lodge common areas and loved the garden. This is a hidden gem in South Lake Tahoe and I would recommend it to anyone!
