Sorrento is super touristy and the big hotels know it. You could pay $500-$600 a night to stay in one of the big grand hotels but you wouldn't ever find anywhere as good, and frankly, charming, as Luiselle. From the funny little elevator to the amazing breakfast this is the best value for money in Sorrento. We stayed in 4 different hotels in Italy and in Luiselle we found the most comfortable bed of all. The location is far enough away from the city center that you're out of the hubbub but only a short walk to get to shopping and restaurants and whatnot.
The only downside, and this is minor, is that the cab drivers don't know about it. Looking on Google Maps you can't tell where it is, there's a little brass plate on the wall which is common with this type of boutique hotel in Italy.
When we arrived Andrea greeted us warmly. He was in the middle of making cake for the next morning's breakfast and the smell was amazing. He also makes the best cafe Americano in Italy.
Since we're not really into the touristy stuff as far as I'm concerned the only reason we would go back to Sorrento is to stay at Luiselle.
Everything about our stay was good. Luiselle is in a perfect location a five minute walk to the main square, restaurants and shops. It is also handy to a local supermarket. The staff are amazing they will help with anything like confirming bookings, organising transport and booking classes etc. They were always smiling and keen to hear about your day. The breakfasts were delicious and had everything you might want including delicious home baked tarts and tiramisu! Our room was all we needed, very clean and we had our own little balcony. We would recommend this to anyone.
Loved the place. Very homey and pleasant. The rooms are very nice and clean. Marco was amazing and super helpful! Definitely recommend staying there! Enjoyed our stay very much!
spending 4 days in this splendid location was a wonderful experience thanks to the attention, advice on what to see and where to go, and the attention to every little detail of all the staff. The rooms are new, clean and well cared for. The breakfast was good, plentiful and fresh.
The proximity to the center and the nearby car park are another strong point.

Very nice, modern, clean rooms, Netflix service included. Really kind, courteous and helpful staff, we were returning from a holiday in Ischia and having decided at the last moment to stay in Sorrento we had not booked any beach, the very friendly receptionist helped us to find an available place (moreover with a breathtaking view ). For breakfast they have some delicious tarts and cakes. Great location, one step away from the main street. Ultimately I highly recommend it!
