If you’re staying in Sorrento and looking for an authentic experience, you must stay here. It’s located on Michele’s family property up in the hills, about a 20 min walk from the city centre. Breakfast each morning includes his mother’s homemade cakes and jam, one of the best parts of the day. They all make you feel very welcome, Michele even drove us to and from the station upon our arrival and departure. Although the area has a traditional feel, the rooms are very modern with lights that Michele set up himself. Very clean and cozy with daily housekeeping. Amenities include WiFi, hairdryer, mini fridge, soaps, shower cap, bidet, etc. Be warned, the walk back from the city centre is a steep uphill. My only complaint is that the bed had a bit of a dip, but overall, my favourite stay during my whole Italy trip. 10/10 would recommend and come back!
Room was brilliant, air conditioning in each room, bathroom facility was excellent.
Breakfast provided was amazing, being Australian we wanted to try eating like the locals and the fresh croissants and cakes were delicious, would definitely stay again
Friendliness, sympathy, very clean environment. I stayed for six nights with the family and my beloved dog and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment - two rooms and a comfortable terrace with partial sea view - is spacious but above all clean, not a secondary detail especially in this period. 'On Michele is located a few minutes drive from the center of Sorrento and is a convenient starting point for visiting Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and the other towns along the coast. I had no difficulty parking the car along the road, there is always a place at any time of the day.
In the morning Signora Carmela, nice and skilled in the kitchen, welcomed us with her sweet delicacies. It was a pleasure to chat while enjoying her delicious cakes.
It feels like being at home, such is the atmosphere that is created with her, Michele and their family. Michele was more than kind in meeting my request and I am particularly grateful to him.
I highly recommend it to young people and families, the quality-price ratio is more than competitive.
We stayed overnight for a short visit to the coast and a trip to Capri. Cared for down to the smallest detail. Brand new rooms, very welcoming, comfortable and spotless. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with kindness and grace by the hosts, always ready to give advice to discover the area, making themselves totally available. The breakfast is abundant home made with typical products and wonderful homemade cakes by Mrs. Carmela. We communicated my husband's lactose intolerance and there was absolutely no problem adjusting. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
We stayed overnight at 'On Michele in two. Apartment located in a very quiet area with a splendid panoramic view. The sunset on Procida is priceless. We visited the beautiful alleys of Sorrento and Capri. Mrs. Carmela's cakes and Michele's availability were unique, truly an unforgettable holiday.
