I had an out of this world food experience at the Syrene a few days ago. I’m no food critic so excuse me if I can only use words like “exceptional”, “brilliant”, “wonderful” or “amazing” but the aubergine parmiggiana, seafood pasta, and wine I had there were pretty exceptional, brilliant, wonderful, and amazing. The staff was also incredible (wow, she knows another world). Thank you so much, I can’t wait to come back!
I booked a trip here with my cousin in May of 2019. We are two females in our 30’s looking for memories of a lifetime. My experience was above and beyond 5 stars. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way...from customer service to views, cleanliness, hospitality, comfort, chic, the list goes on and on. Our room was gorgeous, our view was unforgettable and the food/customer service was impeccable. This hotel has potentially ruined future trips for me as I do not think anywhere else will ever compare. Thank you for such an incredible experience and unforgettable memories. We WILL be back.
Maybe was because of the situation this year but I didn’t make any reservation and I get the best table in the place (I went there around 2:30 pm, they close the lunch service at 3:30 pm). So the view is just overwhelming and the place itself is an experience. Talking about the service you just can’t ask for something better, the waiters they’re not just professional but kind and friendly. The food was excellent and the menu is not expensive at all for this kind of place. I asked for the grilled fish and it was truly delicious, no overreacting if I tell you that was the best fish I ever tried. I asked for a glass of white wine and a bottle of sparkling water, then for dessert I ordered a cup of red fruits with ice cream and an espresso. All was excellent.
So while in Sorrento don’t miss the chance to eat in this marvelous place!!
We dined in the restaurant. The venue was absolutely stunning & the cocktails were delicious. However, we had the set tasting menu which was 5 courses and unfortunately it wasn’t that great. The flavours were quite bland and uneventful. The service was adequate but slow and unpersonal.
I would recommend anyone to have a drink and watch the sunset, but I wouldn’t recommend dining and spending €€€ on a meal at the restaurant.
So beautiful. It’s just so stunning, location, decor and food. Enjoyed every minute of it and can not wait to go back. Highly recommend!
