Standing in the in the Lozentz District of Sofia is this bright yellow mansion-like building called the Maison Sofia Hotel. With its perky exterior, it’s just impossible to miss.
I had everything I needed such as comfy pillows and bed, towels, slippers, toiletries, absolutely everything. And if ever I need anything more, the reception is just one call away and every single staff is very attentive. I love them!
Good place for business travelers, close to the offices in the area.
Very nice food. Comfort pilows. Perfect service at all.
This is not a 5 star hotel.
It is more of a 3 hotel.
Rude staff, low quality rooms, no minibar content. Opening the minibar destroyed the cabinet. It did not fit inside the cabinet.
There was a funky smell in the room. I smelt like the room did not have had a deep clean since the 1990's.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
The training and swimming amenities were very nice. Adequate breakfast, but not no 5 star quality.
We changed to the grand hotel Sofia (a real 5 star hotel).
When we to check out the tried to charge a late check out fee even though we had booked for 2 more nights.
Steer away if you want a real 5 star hotel.
We arrived after 10pm and were welcomed to the hotel.. We had booked the hotel a few weeks before and everything was in order. We had twin beds and asked for double.. We were given a lovely room and felt very comfortable. The drinks waitress was due to go home and was more than happy to serve us with a delicious Bulgarian wine!!
She spoke perfect English and said the staff were like one big family..
Stayed for 2 nights to soak up the history of Sofia.. Great city!!
