Very friendly people and very nice calm hotel perfect for relaxation
It's a nice and clean location, big rooms, comfy beds. The view of the city at night is pretty cool.
The location is very quite and nice, on the slopes of mount Vitosha. The rooms are spacious and clean. Parking is very facile in the vicinity or in the backyard of the hotel. The breakfast is very poor and the staff is not real friendly. If you arrive late after 10PM you have to pay 10E fee (there is also the option to take the key from a box without a fee).
Hotel Villa Boyana is perfect if you are looking to explore the Boyana area and maybe take a hike or two in the mountains. It is a quaint and small hotel located just a few minutes away from the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Boyana Church, so if you want to visit the church, this hotel could be a great place to stay - this is exactly what we did! The room was really great, with a nice, wide bed, a perfectly good bathroom and a flatscreen TV with a whole bunch of both Bulgarian and International channels. The breakfast was great as well, though I should point out that you do not get to decide what you get; breakfast is quite simply served. We enjoyed it very much nonetheless. Krassimir was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay and helped us book a taxi to the airport when we checked out.
It's a nice cozy small hotel in the mountain area. It has a very helpful and kind staff. The room is wide and comfortable. The room service is really fast and delicious. It has few restaurants around, one of them with traditional Bulgarian food.
The only minus we found was the lack of facilities for the baby's stroller. In the hotel there is no elevator and Infront of it there are only stairs as well.
I am happy with our stay here (in general), but the hotel is not recommended for disabled people or mothers with strollers, unless there is someone to carry them up.
