Beautiful hotel with quirky antiques in a very central location. We stayed in a couple of different rooms and each one had stunning ocean views. The staff are absolute perfection and provide amazing dinner recommendations, top notch breakfast service (served on a terrace overlooking the sea), and the rooms are always immaculately cleaned each day. Thank you!
We loved this hotel. Helpful friendly, English speaking staff. Excellent facilities in room - kettle, iron and ironing board! Tea and coffee making, mini bar, good shower and very comfortable bed. In a very convenient spot for visiting the old town island area (Ortigia), which is well worth a day spent there. The restaurant and to service is quite expensive, so we ate out, loads of eateries of varying descriptions, and a small supermarket very nearby. Highly recommend, and out of season very reasonable price for the facilities. Oh, and the hotel breakfast is excellent, a highlight!
It is a really cool boutique hotel. We had a lot of fun their, rooms are nice and we'll maintained. Looks like they just renovated them. We had a suite/ penthouse and we loved it but the ceiling was too low for us and my wife had a couple of bumps on her forehead. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast, it is the same every day, no new or different ingredients added, same thing every day☹️. There were parking available on the street next to the hotel and that was nice, but it is 15 minutes walking distance from any restaurant or a store. Also note that there is no beach next to it. Hotel has a sister hotel called "whitebay" and that one is on the beautiful beach with an awesome restaurant. Ask the front desk and they will make a beach reservation for you, it is just 25 minutes away by car.
We had a fabulous stay here which was very welcome after being ripped off in super-touristy Taormina. Very comfortable beds and rooms with sofa and full kitchen as well as spacious bathroom.
In room breakfast was a very welcome highlight. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location on Ortigia as max 15min walk to anywhere on the island. Right near the free swim area if you fancy a dip! ♀️
Also organised us a private airport transfer via Mercedes to Catania airport (around 50min with a little traffic) which cost €70 (paid to driver direct). A stress free end to our holiday!
My family of four stayed there for 3 days. Really nice and clean suites. Super service from staff. The breakfast was at a cute roof terrace. Though the variety of food could have been a bit better. Superb location in Ortigia. We had a great stay!
Hotel located in the historic center of Ortigia.
A stone's throw away there is a private paid parking (which Mrs. has not communicated to us) and a 10 min walk to the public paid parking lot (15 € max for 12 hours).
From the structure you can move in any direction or main point because everything is within walking distance.
The Hole is a small shop owned by the lady under the hotel, while for the hotel you have to move to the next door.
You can see the cleanliness already from the scent emanating from the corridors, while the rooms are spacious, clean and with all the comforts (shame about my climate that I always kept on due to breaking of the remote control).
Our rooms also had verandas of relevance with tables and external sink very useful for washing costumes, towels or even just for grilling or relaxing a bit.
They also take the holiday voucher.
Average-high prices but given the comfort and cleanliness (on the second day, Ms also came to freshen up) the price is average.
This is a right place to stay in Ortigia.

The Thalya Luxury room has rooms furnished with a very particular and modern style, very spacious rooms ... and a very special bathroom with shower, also you have a terrace where you can relax in one of the tables / sofas .. .

Strategic position 10 min. On foot from the island of Ortigia, around there are bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets and petrol stations!

Yes it looks like the photos and yes it is completely worth it. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Had homemade peach marmalade with croissants for breakfast, the host's uncle made it from his orchard, was delicious. ☺️
We loved our 2 night stay at La Terrazza sul Vicolo and would have stayed longer if we could! My partner and I had the suite with kitchenette. It exceeded our expectations - quiet, clean and spacious. Good quality fittings and lots of lovely touches - a lot of love has clearly gone into this place. Our host met us and gave some tips on restaurants etc for the island. The two level roof terrace is fantastic. Would absolutely stay again.
Lovely property with the best view! Waking up to the sea and watching the sunset over the water is a true luxury here. Our room was stylish, modern and very well equipped. It is a home where we can stay for days, weeks and even months. Perfect location and very helpful staff on check in, valet parking (on a pedestrian street), sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. We were wekcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and bottles of water, then checked out with famous local pastry. It was a delightful stay and we truly felt in love with the property and the city.
The hotel and staffs are just amazing. Everyone in here is so kind and helpful. We had great time here.
About its restaurant, we have to say that steak is the best!
Additionally, its breakfast has different kind of food. We would like to come again.
We stayed in this splendid structure in the center of Ortigia, tastefully renovated and cared for in every detail with a particular mix of Sicilian design and tradition. Giulia, the owner, is helpful and friendly. Certainly recommended and we will definitely be back.
