Reviews from visitors:
Check in was quick but rooms not the cleanest. Pillows and bed was dusty and had some stains. Had breakout on my face after 1 night. Near to food places hence convenient. Swimming pool rather small and the tiles of the pool is more rock hence scraped myself a few times and almost slipped on the wooden floor board. Service staff was kind and professional.
Awesome place to stayover. Premier room at best rate
There was an indian lady receptionist who was extremely rude to my wife. We reached the hotel at 1.35pm while the check in was at 2pm. My wife requested politely for her to open the carpark shutter and let us park the car first while waiting for the check in, and she told us to come back at 2pm instead (the parking lots were completely empty at that time). The carpark is at a single lane one way road, I had to drive away first as the shutter was still closed while I was waiting for the shutter to be opened and there was another car behind waiting to pass the road. I had to drive one round before returning back to the carpark again. After my wife spoke to the indian lady, she reluctantly opened the shutter. After like 2minutes wait, she rudely asked my wife whether our car is coming or not. The lady still proceeded to close the shutter despite my wife told her I'm reaching. So as I was approaching the carpark, I witnessed the shutter closing right infront of my eyes. Needless to say, my wife was stunned by the lady's action. I had to wind down my window and asked my wife what's happening (There was nobody waiting at the lobby at that time so I really wonder why she had to do that, not like she was busy at that moment.) . The lady's attitude immediately changed when I got down of the car. I think she only unleash her attitude problem towards softer people.
That being said, the other 2 guy receptionists during the other shifts were helpful and nice.
The first room we got, the bed had urine stench when we were lying on it. I can't believe the housekeeping personnel did not notice it when they were replacing the bedsheet. Anyway it was extremely disgusting after we identified the exact spot on the bed where the stench came from. The receptionist could not believe it as well, he came up to confirm that urine stench on the bed and changed a room for us.
Unfortunately, the new room was a downgrade from what we had booked since that was the only room available at that time. (There was no refund or so) The new room had a smaller bed, a big pillar near the middle of the room, and a smaller bathroom.
During our stay, the aircon also malfunctioned for around 2 hours in the afternoon. It was fixed after that. Not a deal breaker as it was one-off. Just another bad encounter to our stay.
Once step into the hotel, the friendliness of the staffs are welcoming. Keep up the good work.
Due to covid, the snacks corner are close.
Able to upgrade according to Agoda.
Disappointment are:
- There are still urine stains on the toilet seat.
- The pillow covers are yellowish
- Flip open the pillow cover and discovered that most of the pillows have black stains, saliva stains, etc. OMG!!
- The drawers are not cleaned properly with bits of crackers inside and some kind of insects crawling around in the drawer (Refer to photos and videos)
Found out from receptionist that housekeeping only work during the day and the receptionist has to do the job of cleaning and exchanging of pillows.
Receptionist is perfect but housekeeping is negative..
This was a good hotel to spend a weekend of staycation. It was a walkable distance from Clark Quay MRT and there are convenience stores and great place for supper and drinks nearby. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed. However, the shower's water wasn't strong enough and it got quite weak in the morning. There was a ceiling panel lying at the doorway. The 2-story room looked spacious on camera but it was quite cram upstairs. Other than that, it was actually quite good to house 4 people as there is a sofa downstairs that can be converted into a bed.
