Location is good, near to many food places and cafes. Less than 5 minutes to 7-11 and highly rated cafes in Singapore. Cool pool that is see through to the first level, and nice to chill at night. Can be better maintained though to upkeep the vibes and comfort for guest.

On the 3rd of September, I walked to the hotel to enquire about their rooms and rates as my girlfriend’s birthday is round the conner and wanted to have a 2D1N staycation
The lady boss was so friendly and allowed me to view the rooms
The staff brought me up to individual rooms and showed me around.
Just as I have always been thinking of trying out a staycation here, the place look stunning, the rooms, the bathtub, the pool at the 2nd level and the bistro beside the lobby.
The staff was so friendly and patient, so I straight away booked online (Room 301) on the spot with the help of the staff.

My gf’s birthday
We were warmly welcomed, and we checked in.
We went to the room and “tada” it was so cosy.
Rested awhile and went down to have our dinner at their bistro
The Chef did a splendid job with the food

The owners made it extra special for my gf’s birthday
I am so thank you for the wine and cake for my gf☺️ so sweet of them And also singing happy birthday to my gf
After dinner, we had a great time in the pool.
Then went back up to the room to enjoy ourselves soaking in their big bathtub.

We had a Hawaiian pizza 10/10
and my favourite mushrooms again 20/10
And after which, was time to check out.
We enjoyed the hotel a lot

Could work a little more on the amenities provided to give a better experience. Overall still a good stay over the weekends
The Beer Room we got was supposedly a special Art Boutique room by a Chinese artist, but it looked like it was drawn by a child.. The bed and pillows were flat and uncomfortable and the walls were so thin we were kept up by partying guests opposite us. The cleanliness was really poor as it seemed like manpower was lean and the front desk staff were roped in to help with the cleaning. O.o The food from the XY Bistro was also overpriced and not very tasty. The only saving grace was the hospitality and friendliness of the owners, who were at the hotel.
location is in a great place around Arab st/haji lane area. hotel has unique art-led aesthetic and the owner was very accommodating to our requests!
