Reviews from visitors:
Perfect location for the city centre and it's attractions. Clean and tiedy. Very helpful staff. Can recommend for a city break.
I love this hotel. Warm and friendly staff, good breakfast, central location, restaurants are abundant 10m away. A real gem!
Great location, spotlessly clean room and really friendly and helpful staff. We had some delightful conversations and felt really welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble.
I visited in early 2018, and I'm writing about an incident that still bothers me. I was speaking about travelling with someone recently and this still leaves a pit in my stomach, so I decided to write this review. I will say this was our first trip to Spain, we did not know Spanish so communication was sometimes difficult, and reflecting on the incident I would not have even entered the hotel.
Basically I needed to use the washroom - the streets and restaurants nearby were packed, we tried for almost an hour to find somewhere that would let us buy a coffee so I could use the washroom. No luck. We decided to try a side street, hoping to find something. This is when we entered the hotel.
The man at the front desk was on the phone. We waited for a minute without any acknowledgement. I noticed a sign with symbols for the washroom around the corner, so I headed that direction while my partner waited at the reception. It was a two door female-designated washroom, and I had almost closed the second door when the man aggressively pushed opened the doors, telling me "No! No! Get out." My partner says when I first went to the washroom the man put the phone down immediately, still refused to acknowledge his presence, and literally ran to catch me. As he walked me back to the entrance I apologized, and politely asked if there were any washrooms in the area I could use. His response was a crude "Anywhere else" and he turned away, rendering us once again nonexistent.
Perhaps as a Canadian I am used to respectful, pleasant, and kind interactions. Every single moment of this interaction was repugnant. I have no doubt he would have still opened the door if I had been partially undressed, or used physical force to remove me if I had not moved quick enough. That is how aggressive his actions and tone were. I was, and still feel, embarrassed and dehumanized by this incident. I realize I was in the wrong, but a simple knock and "Unfortunately you cannot use these washrooms" would have more than sufficed. I hope, instead of writing an aggressive reply from management, you actually digest this feedback and retrain your staff to improve their customer service skills.
A quaint little hotel in Sevilla. It was quite nice in the middle of the town with plenty of places to eat just steps from the hotel. Great price, clean rooms, and a friendly staff. Can't ask for much more from this place. I would stay here again if given the opportunity.
