Still waiting for a refund from this hotel after + 4 months since the initial email. They do not answer to any email. For such 3 star rating you would expect a decent customer service.
We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights after seeing ratings and reviews. Hotel is old and there was a strong sewer smell every time you entered the room. When we let the front desk know, the staff member was very friendly and kind enough to switch us to a different room on the same floor. The second room we switched to had the same smell. There were a couple of reviews that had complained about the stench which we ignored seeing all the positive ones. Boy we’re we wrong. We regret not heading to those reviews. I hope H 10 will fix the issue. Look elsewhere, you will find better accommodations for the same price. Very disappointed.
An elegant hotel 10 min on foot away from city centre. Various shops and restaurants around. Very clean. Staff are helpful and efficient. Breakfast is superb. Highly recommended.
This hotel is excellent. There is plenty of Spanish flair and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is comfortable and located close to attractions. We would stay here again without any hesitation.
We stayed here for 4 nights in January and were very impressed on arrival. A free drink at reception and another at bar for being a H10 member. Staff were friendly and helpful with advice and information.
Room was lovely and clean with everything you need such as hairdryer, safe, coffee machine and mini bar. TV had no English channels but it didn't bother us.There was a lovely garden/patio area where you could have a quiet drink.
Location is excellent for night time dining as the popular Alameda De Hercules Plaza was just around the corner. The busy central location of Santa Cruz and Cathedral was a 15 or 20 minute walk.
The only disappointment with the hotel was a Birthday Package that my Fiancee didn't receive for her 40th birthday even after reminding the staff earlier in the afternoon. I was a little annoyed with this at first but they were very apologetic after the only letdown.
A great hotel that I recommend.
