A great apartment, we loved our stay.
I did not know what to do for the weekend of February 14 (Valentine's Day), as I am not about gifts like hearts and rolls of that, and by joining that we cannot leave Seville due to force majeure due to Covid , I thought of surprising my girl and doing something different ... I booked the Atico Loft in front of the Archivo de Indias building and next to the Real Alcazar de Sevilla.
I entered on Saturday around 11:00 in the morning, the entry system is very original, they send you an electronic key with which you open the doors, all automatic, I thought it was a great idea !! The penthouse is on the 3rd floor, you go up in the elevator and you find on the left a terrace open for everyone, very beautiful that overlooks the street .. When you enter the Loft you keep the open, I said ... what a success kid hahaha ... spectacular is the word !!! The design, the quality of the interiors, the comfort, the views of the center of Seville, seeing the cathedral, the archives of the Indies, the fortress and part of the Avenida de la Constitución ... pufff a 10 !! It has been a long time since I enjoyed the same views !! My girl was hallucinating, I was right hahaha ... During the day we were visiting the Alcázar and later we had lunch in a restaurant on Adriano street, when we came back from lunch we had a drink in a bar, as they closed at 18.00 my girl and I went to the terrace of the loft to have a drink there ... Nothing to envy to a bar, having a drink on the terrace of the apartment was to be in heaven, we had unbeatable views, background music with street musicians in the Avenida de la Constitución and the feeling of being together in a place as beautiful as the attic made us very happy ... those moments on the terrace until dusk have remained etched in our minds. When night came, seeing the center Illuminated with the cathedral and its lights it was a sight to see. We asked for something to eat and we were placidly having dinner in the attic living room ... then we sat down again on the terrace, and we did not want the day to end. When we went to sleep, and when we turned off the lights, we were both shocked by the views, since when you lie in bed, you can see the cathedral and the avenue of the constitution in the background, which is illuminated all night. The top 10 bed, very comfortable , say that the bathroom is modern but with taste !! The apartment has a very nice decoration, with really beautiful paintings and designer and comfortable furniture !! The next morning we woke up and they had prepared a breakfast for us ... We had breakfast again on the terrace and the silence in the morning and the views listening to the bells of the cathedral in the background make me want to repeat! Although we live in Seville, we can live this type of experience that makes us forget the current situation ... I am very happy, I thank Puerta Catedral for in times of covid, giving us a spark of happiness !!!
The location is the best. It is very close to TOC hostel, Alcazar and India Loft, close to the cathedral and right in front of Tramway Loft Station.
The entrance is on the calle miguel manara side.
Reception was elsewhere so I had to check in and check out at the reception, but it was nice to be able to keep my luggage after check out.
It is very large and can be cooked, but there is no bathtub and no washing machine.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
It's great to have a dinner at the supermarket and have dinner!
Spacious and neat, good city view.
When you're on the terrace, you can hear the busking song.
The hotel is good, but it seems to have its own charm.
