$40 AUD a night for this place is great value. At first you might think that’s expensive however for this part of Asia and considering what is included it’s fantastic. Free breakfast, coffee around the clock, a nice relaxing lounge & comfortable beds. The staff are lovely and will help with anything you need. An added bonus is that there are TVs in your bed & the beds are so comfortable.
Hotel looks small but room is big , clean and spacious. TV is very big. Location is excellent near many shopping Malls and eatery’s and cafe.
Some bad points toilet has no hook and queen bed is smaller . Overall a nice hotel to rest
for the price we paid, it definitely worth 5 star. We love the retro hipster kind of design and the friendly receptions. It is very near to some very good local shops. 10 minutes walk to Changdeokgung, 15 minutes walk to Myeongdong and 20 minutes walk to Gwanghwamun. or else, the metro is right in front of your doorsteps. The only downside was slight noise can be heard from the street at night. If you are travelling alone or with a friend, you could consider this since the room. is just nice for 2 person.
If you're tired boring hotels, strongly recommend this unique hotel to you. It was special experience to me. I was like being Beth of The Queen's gambit!!! (I know It is american drama but this hotel is antique french style haha)

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, bedding, bathrooms. There is a bidet. Great views of the city through large windows. Everything was great! The staff speaks good English. I recommend it as a small, clean, comfortable and bright room with a turntable and a large selection of them at the reception.
A stylish hotel with a great location. Hotel and room were both very clean, and the service was professional.

My family with children stayed here for more than a week. Location was very convenient to other parts of Seoul due to departmental building and rail station 3 minutes away from the hotel. There are various eateries near it too. It ain't a fancy hotel but was clean, and quite alright albeit a little dated. Staff was friendly, and overall it was good. If you need a decent place with decent pricing to bed and rest after exploring Seoul, this is it.
Small rooms but very clean. No place to sit in the lobby. I wish there were some sitting area .
DO NOT get a room facing the train track as it’s VERY NOISY. You can’t sleep.
It was super noisy that I had to move the room to opposite side facing west.
Many places to walk around and see but old town ..... very old and dusty......not clean area of City.
Just to sleep, I’ll go again.... to sleep
Stayed here for 4 nights and it was a great experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Free breakfast and free use of washer and dryer was a nice treat. Good location and would highly recommend. Close to subway and bus stop. I will stay here next time I’m back in Seoul.
Overall, we were very happy. The room was very clean and comfortable, albeit a little small. The breakfast was fine, but needed more options. There were some nice touches, such as the take away filet coffee and cup in the rooms. We wouldn't be in a rush to come back, but would also be happy to come back.
