To start with the people who worked there were outstanding 6 out of 5 stars. However, dumbbells to 50 and a few treadmills is not a fitness center (see photo). Second the shower was backing up. They tried to fix it but did not do it well. The building was otherwise nice.
It's really cool Seattle has two art deco hotels in operation. It was neat to stay at the Graduate and see the various deco elements sprinkled throughout the quirky interior. Unfortunately, I would not want to stay here again. None of the doors have any kind of door closer and with such thin walls, we heard every door that slammed. The bed was beautiful and quite comfortable, but we were woken up multiple times (apparently other guests don't know how to close a door quietly). I loved the retro bathroom, but there wasn't much hot water in the morning and I showered in warm water. The public spaces in the lobby are beautiful and expansive, though signage for the bathroom would help a lot (it's on the second floor by the elevators).
Currently staying, NEVER WANT TO LEAVE!! Treated me, my dog, and my hoodlum looking friends like family. Kindness, respect and generosity I was shown by the staff when I locked my keys in my car called AAA and saved me. LOVE LOVE LOVE
Absolutely loved this unique hotel. The seating areas are gorgeous! The staff is absolutely wonderful, from the valet to the front desk to the cafe workers.
The room was humble and cozy, very clean, great views. Close walking distance to many restauraunts and quick drive to popular locations in seattle! Great price as well!
It was a nice hotel next to University. It is an old hotel with almost no sound proof between the rooms. My room was next to the ice machine, which wasn't good. I can hear the music or TV sounds from the next door. It wasn't that pleasant to hear those sounds at 5am.
