I can't rave harder about this place. This is the Emerald city's Moulin Rouge. This place is absolutely dripping in local themed art, gorgeous installations and great vibes. I got there pretty late and Charles came and opened the door when he saw me struggling with all my bags. When I told him it was my birthday he gave me a couple of the most delicious macaroons I had ever had! I had a wonderful view of the bay, and Pike Place, and the roof top is so romantic. There's even a room you can rent with rooftop access. The attached restaurant, Ben Paris is delicious, absolutely treat yourself to the brunch menu! This is my new go-to when I hit the Gritty City. The price was crazy affordable for such a extravagant experience and the people who work here go out of their way to make a human connection.
The wonderful staff at The State Hotel made my girlfriend’s birthday an amazing one. They went well above and beyond to welcome us. I will 100% be back. My new go-to in Seattle.
Outstanding service, great view and location, clean modern room. Thanks Kelly, as well as awesome security guy that went way out of his way early in the morning to help me get access to my car! Will be back.
The service was safe and accommodating. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed over the Valentine's weekend during snowdemic. The room: king w/water view is charming and comfortable. I had a blast taking photos from my window. This hotel is perfect for urban hikers. The beds are so comfy and the pour over coffee kits are the perfect start to get you going before heading to Pike Place Market. I would stay here again and recommend to my active friends. The restaurant Ben Paris is delicious, they deliver to your room too. Photos 1 is from Pike Place looking toward the hotel. Photo 2 Is the view from the room on the 7th floor.
Even in the middle of the pandemic we had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The hotel has a wonderful classy-kitschy atmosphere in the perfect location for experiencing Seattle. Two minute walk to Pike Place Market, five minutes to the ferris wheel, twenty minutes to the Space Needle or you can take the nearby monorail, and lots of good local restaurants for meals. Cozy room with beautiful city views and clean finishes. The absolute best part of our stay was the hospitality of the front desk workers- I mentioned we were in town celebrating our recent engagement and wanted to find some macaroons for dessert. We stepped out for a quick bite of lunch and while gone the hotel crew sent a bottle of champagne and a plate of macaroons to our room with a congratulations card. I'm happy that this place will always be part of my engagement memories.
