Reviews from visitors:
We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff members were both helpful and friendly, helping with all our needs including changing the cot that was prepared in the room for a baby cot after our late check-in. The standard room was spacious enough for all 3 of us. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. We also liked the location for it's not far from our place.
Extremely friendly and competent staff. The room had comfortable beds and an awesome walk in granite shower.
I chose this hotel based on the good raring and good reviews, and I loved that they had rooms that had a space needle view & a tub. The problems started when I called about a month before our stay to ask a simple question about the billing. I had to re call them for 10 MINUTES because no one was picking up on any of their lines, it just kept ringing and ringing and ringing. I was ready to give up when finally someone picked up, and then I spent another 25 MINUTES on the phone with them I kept being transferred to person after person, no one seemed to be able to even find our reservation or answer my question. I was so frustrated after the call I almost cancelled our booking all together. I let it pass and as it got closer to our date I called to see if they could do anything special. On the phone I was told they could do rose petals on the floor leading up to the bed and all over the bed as well for $40. When we walked in there was a very small amount of some random flower petals just on the bed, it was not pretty it looked like a mess like they did it in a rush. The petals did not look fresh. Also I called the day before our booking because there was snow and asked what we could do if we weren't going to make it in, and that phone call was super frustrating as well the lady we talked to seemed annoyed and was not nice, and she also struggled to find our reservation. She was only nice after I said I wasent trying to be difficult I was just worried about safety. Our room was missing an iron and I tried to call the front desk from our room to let them know and they said please wait then the phone just kept ringing and ringing and no one was picking up so finally I hung up and had to go down myself. We also paid extra so the space needle view and the layout of the room was awkward, you could not see the space needle from the window by the bed only from the window by the desk and they did not show that in pictures on the site. The staff at the hotel when we got there was nice, but other than that the whole expirence was frustrating and disappointing. I will not ever be staying here again and I would not reccomend this place to anyone.
The Seattle Pan Pacific delivers on its promise of spacious and well-appointed accommodations in an excellent location. I found the Pan Pacific hotel when searching for a luxury hotel with spacious rooms in Seattle located somewhere other than the waterfront area. The room had walls of windows with a perfect view of the Space Needle. In addition to being very reasonably-priced, the suite included two full bathrooms, a living area, dining table, and a separate bedroom (with high-end linens and a very comfortable bed). The main public area of the hotel is not what you'd expect when entering a luxury property - the entrance to the hotel (in a small courtyard of retail stores) is a disappointment and the lobby and main floor are very small, so it's not an inviting area if you like to gather and people watch. The surrounding neighborhood is clean and full of technology companies, so it has a cool center-of-the-universe vibe. Located in the South Lake Union neighborhood, it's within walking distance to many good restaurants and coffee shops. Downtown, Belltown, and Pike Market are also all within walking distance, but these areas are far enough away that you feel like you're getting to experience the culture of Seattle that the locals know and tourists necessarily get to see.
