Daryl made us feel like we were part of the family. This place has so much charm and class. You must have the muffins. The courtyard is awesome. As a gay couple it is hard to find a place that makes you feel as welcome as we have felt. Walking distance to many gay friendly businesses ( short walk) as well as pikes place market and space needle( long walk). We will definitely return.

I stayed here over a decade ago and I’m still talking about it. It occurred to me that it was worth leaving a good review. In about 2006 or 2007 had a chance to have a big birthday party or take a trip instead to anywhere in the US and I picked Seattle and the Bacon B&B for where my dad and I would stay. I remember the service was excellent, beautiful rooms, especially the library, and how well located the B&B was too. I would love to return one day with my husband and son after the coronavirus pandemic is no longer a threat.
I have been enjoying the deliciousness of the Bacon Mansion since 2001. Every single time stayed it has been the most excellent experience. Daryl King and his crew treat every single person staying as if they are family members. It's phenomenal. When my father was alive we chose the Bacon Mansion because they were the sole B&B to accommodate his wheelchair access. They took the extra effort to bring out breakfasts to them each morning. It's just one of the zillion ways folks are made comfortable during their stays. I cannot recommend this amazing place enough.
Darryl is the best host and we appreciate his hospitality. The mansion is a beautiful 100+ year old home in a great spot in Capital Hill. It is lovingly cared for with beautiful western views through the fall foliage. It has a nice outdoor patio for enjoying pleasant afternoons.
Coffee and tea is waiting right outside your room each morning to help start your day. Breakfast includes delicious baked muffins, fruit and more.
The rooms are large and nicely appointed. There are relaxing rooms with a grand piano if you are musically inclined.
We will definitely be back for another relaxing stay.
