Reviews from visitors:
One of the best hotels experiences I have had. The staff helped me reschedule with a better view and rate, the hotel and rooms are beautiful, and the staff themselves are so courtious and helpful, making this stay above and beyond. 12/10 will stay here again!!
Neat hotel. Good design coffee bar and lobby. The room is too small, but what can you expect in downtown Seattle. Bathroom design kind like Moxy. Some furnitures are bit old fashioned. Overall it’s a historic hotel in a good location(12 mins walk to Pike Place, 10 mins walk to Starbucks Reserve)
This feedback was sent via email to the coordinator two weeks ago, since no one seemed to care I thought it best to give them an official review.
The venue/our room - The Residence - 2,000 sq. ft. of space on the entire 19th floor was beautiful, but Unfortunately the service didn't match the decor and cost.
1. Event started at 6pm and nothing was set up by 4:45pm. Although we had already discussed setup previously, event personals were refusing to set things up as we agreed upon. After much back and forth they finally looked over the contract and set up was completed as guests were arriving.
2. Elevator not shut down after 9pm..
3. My husband wanted to stay another night so I called front desk to see if the room was available. I was told they will have to speak to a manager and get back to me, I never heard back from them.
4. Modification to menu were made without notice. We did not receive the grilled shrimp skewers, Instead we got shrimp cocktails.
5. No trays were passed around as covered on the contract.
6. Several of my guests stated that staff catering was not friendly.
7. Hot tub was lukewarm and never got hot.
Very nice hotel that is located in a great part of Seattle. You can easily walk to most locations from the hotel. The restaurant that is part of the hotel serves superb food. I recommend the fish and chips, it is amazing. The only issue with the hotel is the small bathrooms. You have very little room to maneuver and there is no way two people could get ready together. There is also little storage room. This would be a tough hotel for a couple to get ready for a night out.
Great hotel! Got the King Suite for the night and that came with a drink reception hour. Super friendly employees! I was able to check in 2 hours early as well. Super recommend! But if the weather is cold outside. The bathroom tiles are super cold!
