Reviews from visitors:
Loved staying here! The hotel was very clean and the room was pretty big. The staff was friendly and helpful! They did a really good job making us feel special. We would absolutely stay here again.
Had a lovely 2 nights at Marqueen. A gift from hubby for anniversary and Thanksgiving; just needed to get out and treat ourselves. The service and amenities were stellar. The hotel is living history, a treasure of Seattle culture. Alex and the rest of the front desk staff, and doorman, were spectacular in their customer service and they treated us well. The room is huge, spacious, clean, and feels like a romantic time machine. Views outside are dazzling. The bottle of wine was an unexpected and lovely and quite delicious as well. Bathtub was huge and you shall not want for hot water here; there's plenty of hot water. Hotel was enchanting and charming from check in to check out. Local neighborhood is enchanting. Can't recommend enough.
It's a charming hotel and decorated with turn of the century furnishings (built 1918). Building has three floors and since no elevator ability to manage stairs is a necessity. Our room had a king bed, very spacious with high ceilings, and large windows. It appeared to have new paint, but color choice a little drab for my taste. Large kitchen area with refrigerator and microwave. A small table and chairs for breakfast nook seating. Because of COVID there is no dishware, but the lobby has disposable on request. At one time the building was apartments so the room had forced air heating. A little loud but kept room nice and warm. The bathroom was the most dated with original tub. If showers are important part of your hotel experience then this would not be the best match. The shower is low and not powerful, but it was fine for I and my husband. They do have nice soap and shampoo. Also, this hotel is pet friendly, but not without fees.
They charged me when I didn’t even stay there.
I want to thank them for teaching me never to give my card number for a stupid hotel reservation.
This historic hotel is ideal: it's centrally located in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle's city center near the boardwalk & Pike Place Market downtown, it's old but well-kept so it gives off those vintage vibes with classic touches & Victorian-era details, & it's extremely spacious. The single queen room was the size of a 500 sq ft apartment, including full-size fridge, dining table, kitchen, & living room/sitting area. It was also a great price!
