Reviews from visitors:
The Sorrento is an elegant, beautifully restored and maintained classic old world hotel - my favorite hotel in Seattle. The location is convenient - right between downtown and Capital Hill with easy freeway access. Staff is gracious and helpful - once you have stayed their a couple times they remember you by name and your room preferences. The in-hotel restaurant has good food, an excellent bar, quiet old world ambiance and a lovely outdoor terrace during the warm months. All the rooms are lovely but spring for a suite if it works for your budget. If you prefer a super-modern "W"-type hotel experience The Sorrento probably won't be for you. If you enjoy the history and ambiance of restored older hotels you'll love it there.
Thanks for taking such great care of us while my husband was in Virginia Mason for a week. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They have secure parking and great food.
What an Awesome Hotel!
Had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Sorrento in Seattle (early Nov 2020). The staff was amazing, super helpful and seemed genuinely happy at that. The vibe was so relaxed in the hotel and restaurant. We ate breakfast at Stella and had some house made lattes. The room was clean and they are definitely taking extra precautions to stay safe. For a historic boutique hotel, they do a great job of keeping the rooms looking great with a touch of the past. This is definitely my number one pick for hotels in Seattle. I did my research and they did not disappoint in any way!
Here's a few tips:
When you are booking with the hotel, make sure you look at all the deals on their site. We were able to book a lesser room with a free upgrade AND a $50 food and beverage credit. No, this credit did not cover alcohol, but it did cover our breakfasts and some much needed espressos every morning we were there. The windows do open, so you can get some fresh air flow in your room. The hotel is pretty close to everything and the city is very walkable. We ended up not needing Lyft/Uber while we were there at all. If you are going to the Space Needle, just walk and take the monorail, which is also centrally located. Enjoy!
I knew I recognize this place: last of us part II
Very nice and helpful staff. The beds are pretty soft for a hotel bed, which was cool! It's early 1900s, potentially haunted aesthetic is really cool and exactly what we were hoping for. Definitely coming back.
