Reviews from visitors:
This hotel is one of the city's awesome hotels. Their rooms are tidy and spacious. Which also has access to the store, so having everything you like, such as food, drinks, and coffee, is very convenient. If you just want to relax with a cup, the lobby lounge also has a nice atmosphere. All in everything. It was an enjoyable stay. Highly Advised
Loved the hospitality of the staff! The room was nice, and a good price! I would stay there again!
bed was comfy. Be prepared for a loud room as there is no air conditioning and there are several restaurants outside which stay open late, so if you have your window open (likely) you will hear all conversations in the street outside. No microwave or ice in the hotel, although the concierge will run across the street to get ice and to heat food for you-this can take several minutes. This is a no-frills establishment, not so sure it's worth the price tag...(we stayed in a room with a private bath, there are several rooms with communal baths which may be worth the value, not sure).
The good: Very friendly person checked us in. He was very polite and got us checked in efficiently. Our room was very clean, with a nice bed and nice linens.
The bad: Our room; that we upgraded to have a private bathroom; was rather small. A larger issue is that there is no desk, or a chair to sit down on. There was a small stool/ottoman but it was awkwardly placed and did not go with the room. Our room was accessible from the street on the ground floor. There is one window, and although it was 64 degrees outside, our room was hot and stuffy. No ceiling fan, or a standing fan or anything. Our kind and helpful host did not mention to us where an ice machine was, if there was one, nor did he give us any information on the gym and if it was or was not open. Nice clean room; not really decorated to the 20's, definitely is lacking on actual amenities that are useful and appreciated; especially at the price point here. Very expensive for such limited attention to guest comfort and convenience.
The staff-every single person I spoke with- was very friendly! It was much appreciated. This hotel was a perfect fit for our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower pressure was fabulous. The room service was delivered in the given time frame, and the food was delicious. We will return! Thank you!
