Was staying during the protests, staff were supportive in ensuring everyone was safe. Some members of staff were more knowledgeable about the local area than others. Beds were comfortable. Each room had a set of lockers and electric points (though some in awkward locations). There is a social area and free breakfast.
I'm pretty sure there were bedbugs though. First hostel I went to on my trip, and the only night during the holiday I've woken up with bites.
People are nice and willing to help, good to talk. But everything there including the tour and pickup service are more expensive than other. It’s a business so just make sure you google the price first. It’s an old hostel with comfy bed, small bathroom and sometimes the room is not really clean but with too much detergent for the floor and room. I can taste the bitterness in my throat. Second floor is more quiet to enjoy it more. Location is good but nowadays (201912)is with the strike, so sometimes you may feel tear gas in the hostel. The kitchen is good with almost everything you need to prepare anyway :)
Best hostel in Santiago! Juan and the rest of the the staff do a great job of getting everyone involved and having a great time!
The room we stayed in was good, the bathroom was a bit small however and there is pump outside constantly turning on and off every time someone turns on a tap. This is not ideal. The kitchen are is small and not many people can cook at the same time. Nice staff and god location.
Amazing hostel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. All of them go out of their way to be helpful and socialize. Juan, Casandra, and Benjamin are all rockstars.
