Quaint hotel in a great location close to the Barrio Bellavista. Supermarket across the road which is really handy. Nice little terrace to chill on out the back. Room was ok for the price and breakfast was ok but there were numerous things that let it down.
Our toilet didnt flush and you had to lift the top off to get it to work. The safe didnt work. The air con was really weak. The woman on breakfast duties was very stern and packed away the food before breakfast was over and without asking if we had finished which we hadn't.
One final point. Being a tourist we shouldn't have to pay the 19% IVA Tax as long as we provide our PDI entry slip. The guy that checked us in insisted we had to pay it. After going backwards and forwards I paid it as had just arrived in the country and wanted to chill. Luckily we managed to get a refund from the manager on check out once we brought it to her attention.
Toilet was broken so was the electric socket next to bed. Internet 1Mb down and near to zero up, difficult to get emails. Breakfast is bread, cheese and ham.
Good facilities and localization
Very dissatisfied with the room and service at this hotel. They messed up our reservation then gave us a room that was the size of a closet with a broken shower. Thankfully we were only staying there for one night. Would not recommend.
