This hotel was lovely! The beds we're the best we encountered on our long trip. The staff were friendly, generous and efficient. We loved the amenities and special touches, especially the pancakes for breakfast. The garden was soothing and the rooms were so quiet. We felt totally pampered.
I had a reservation, fully paid for the period 2 to 5 April 2020. Due to the global pandemic I was unable to travel to Chile. In fact, I’m currently stuck in quarantine in Peru with the borders closed for the next 30 days. I e-mailed this hotel on 16 March advising that I would be unable to travel due to the above. They advised that due to ‘late notice of cancellation’ they would not offer any refund. I wouldn’t call 18 days short notice. I’m not allowed to leave Peru and Chile has now also closed its borders. I pleaded with them for a refund as I now must pay for accommodation in Peru until their borders open as I’m from Australia. They didn’t care. Shame on you!
Excellent!!! We enjoyed it immensely. Exceptionally friendly, helpful staff who provide excellent service. Very pleasant garden setting for relaxation, refreshments and treats, and delicious breakfast. Great night sleep in comfort.
Wonderful calm eco-friendly retreat from busy Santiago. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the room comfortable and characterful. For me the peaceful walled garden was a highlight, as was the delicious and healthy breakfast wirh excellent coffee. The welcome glass of wine on arrival is also a lovely touch. The solar heated water worked well.
Easy walking distance to vibey Barrio Italia cafes, bars, restaurants and antique shops.
