The hotel is located in center of the City very close to public transportation. It's is also a very busy area. The room we had was quite large, but to me looked dated but everything worked. We had breakfast buffet at the restaurant, where the selection and quality of food was very good. The staff were very helpful.

Really cool hotel in Santiago. Kind of a Chilean Waldorf Astoria. Cool bar, restaurant, and live band at night. Bands a little boring but the hotels awesome. Juan the waiter in the bistro is a cool guy . He was very nice to me and my kids. Nice pool and gym downstairs. Bar makes a good berry mojito, but tell them to up the booze it's a little lite.
Hotel Plaza San Francisco - My New Home in Santiago!
Amazing in every way. We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children and stayed a total of 6 nights at Plaza San Francisco during our trip to Chile. The best choice possible! Before I booked this hotel, I read all the bad reviews about it written on TripAdvisor. None of it applied to us. The best location if you want to be in the center of Santiago, beautiful design, rich and classic, great breakfast, very comfortable beds, powerful shower and a very fair price for all of these. Plus I need to mention the great service and warm people working there. As a bonus, we could leave at the hotel our winter clothes while away to Easter Island and summer clothes while away to Patagonia. Plaza San Francisco is one of these hotels where the guests still can feel important and receive an amazing service for their money. Other benefit was that it's possible to change 100$ per day / per room in Chilean Pesos at a very high exchange rate in a very safe environment. I recommend Plaza San Francisco to all guests who want to have a beautiful time in Santiago and come home with great memories. Literally, I felt that Plaza San Francisco became my home in Santiago! Was always great to be back between our short trips in Chile and made us happy! My kids loved the food and the pool at the hotel plus the candies from the reception! Thank you so much to all!
