Nice Hotel. Clean, comfortable with friendly staff
A wonderful experience! From the moment we stepped in we were treated like VIPs. I do have Hilton Honors Gold status, but this was above and beyond. Our delicious breakfast was included each day (thanks to HHonors) and we also relied on the Executive Lounge (3rd floor) for in-between outings. The room was perfect - we elected for two double beds because our daughter joined us for part of the trip.
Don't forget to redeem your free welcome drink! I recommend the pisco sour, because it's delicious and fun to watch the bartender make it.
The location is also very good. Near the metro, which is inexpensive and efficient for getting around. And close to restaurants and the Costanera Center, a huge shopping mall that offered discounts for tourists. Lots of protests going on in Santiago and Chile in general during our stay, but the area around the DoubleTree always seemed safe and relatively quiet.
Excellent hotel in fantastic location, close to everything. You won't regret it. Very helpful staff. Great bar, coffee shop and restaurant. Big modern rooms. Very clean
