Very nice hotel with a great location. I was there again in December this year. Covid put a damper on things. Breakfast in my room vs the room both a view. Great staff.
I am going on day 3 of my 7 day stay at Hotel Cumbres and wish I had not booked it. It is NOT a 4 star hotel but is a 3 star. That is fine but I had booked it based on the claim it was better. They have plastic cups (including cheap plastic coffee cups) and lower quality furniture that is not comfortable. The breakfast has limited options and is no better than any other 3 star hotel I've been to. I have been in 2 star hotels with better furniture. The staff are polite and responsive but no moreso than any other 3 star hotel I've been to. The road noise coming in my window is incredible. It appears that at one time a few years ago they had some decent window with insulation. That insulation and sound proofing is no longer effective as I feel the wind and hear the sound coming through the window. You can have the fan on the air/heater running or turn the unit off. THERE IS NO AUTO SETTING! What hotel in this year claims to be of quality does not have a thermostat that has an auto for the fan. So you hear the fan running all day and night or you don't have heat/cooling. I will NOT be recommending this to my friends or staying here again.
Really nice hotel and central location. Friendly staff, clean room, good variety at Breakfast.
Can be a little loud in the front rooms in the evening with a market outside however it quietened down by about 10pm. Bathroom/Shower have little privacy, just partially frosted glass, so can be a bit awkward for some people.
The hotel is nice, but the bathroom is part of the room and toilets are closed by semi transparent glass door. The staff is very friendly. Good location, a bit noisy at night. The breakfast is nice.
