Rented out the whole hotel, which was very cool. They gave us the keys and left the places entirely to us. The location is amazing right in the middle of everything, restaurants, clubs, and bars. Couldn't have asked for a better location. We stayed for three nights with seven people and each had a room to our selves. The part where the review lost stars is the water stoped working for a day and a half, and when it came back it was brown for hours. We kept calling them to come fix it and and they came quick but they kept telling us it will work in an hour or so and didn't. The electricity kept turning on and off for a whole day. And if you look at everyone's pictures of the pool you will notice it's not fully filled. They told us there's a whole so the level of the pool has to stay like that.
Very nice hotel. Very good breakfast in the restaurant down the street (1 minute). Finally something else instead of eggs and arepas.
After check in we got some complementary fruit juice and water.
There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Nice bathroom though not perfectly clean.
Pool was under maintenance when we were there.
Very good value for money. They just provide a little more service than similarly priced hotels and that makes them stand out in my opinion.

Very nice hotel for aesthetics. Standard cleaning. The receptionist speaks enough English. The rooms are right, the ones on the ground floor are very dark since the windows face the inner courtyard so if you open the curtain they see you in the room! The hotel is located in the city center and at the entrance there is a small and very nice swimming pool for a break from the heat of Santa Marta. At the top of the hotel there is a terrace, a nice environment, hardly usable with the sun during the day because of the heat but in the evening it's really pretty! In the room they find water, natural juice, chips of patacon, tea and coffee, all usable without problems and for free. Another advantage for me was the breakfast, served in a bar a few steps from the hotel (they are part of the same property) ... excellent cuisine, beautiful environment. Breakfast is not buffet style but served at the table with a choice of various combinations. Everything is vegetarian or vegan but in the end there is no lack of meat. Portions are generous and presentation and quality are excellent.
I don't give 5 stars because: I don't find it possible to have rooms where opening the windows is almost impossible, air conditioning ok but not super, sheets a bit old, water from the shower too weak.
