Casa Verde is well located in the city center of Santa Marta. Very close to the beach, buses to Tayrona National Park or Minca. The biggest advantage is the atmosphere. Casa Verde is a boutique hotel with very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are cozy and spacious. They served delicious, varied breakfast.
Such a cozy and nice place. We enjoyed our stay here really a lot. The rooms are big and clean with Airconditioning. The staff was very friendly.
A very nice and comfortable hotel. Room clean, nice decor. Friendly and helpful staff. It is located in the center, close to the beach and the cathedral. Quiet and peaceful inside, we had a great time there.
This Hotel was the best choice in Santa Marta. Everything is great. The personnel were exceptional and you feel that you are home in vacation.
The pool was out of service in our stays but the service and attention was over our expectations.
Absolutely fantastic.
The staff were so sweet and helpful, speaking English when we expected none, and the cute little pool upon entry was perfect for cooling down in the Santa Marta heat. That was the first thing I did, flung it all off and douced myself in its cool waters. One of the ladies immediately brought me two big towels.
Of course the room itself had air conditioning, and we were in the front room next to the street. We were concerned the noise would be bothersome, but they've got this soundproof fancy glass that keeps all the sound out. How good!
The bed was the most comfortable we've found in most all Colombia so far, the shower was beautifully made with natural stones embedded in the ground (very anti-slip) and the softly raining down water was even heated. Woah. Also, this is just me, but they had the crispiest towels. So dry and absorbent that they could even be deemed rough, in the best way possible.
Though we only stayed one night, it was such a needed bit of luxury just to stay in the room after several days of Palomino hostels.
Oh, and breakfast was lovely as well :)
