Is hard not to give this hotel a full 5 star rating..the facilities and location could not be better. The rooms, though quite small, very very comfortable. It could be such a wonderful place to spend time..
But we were disappointed by the level of service especially at the reception desk, but also in the restaurant..Really not sufficiently switched on or of a level necessary for a 4 star hotel.
Also this wasn’t the quiet place to sleep. During Couscous Fest it was hard to get to sleep before 2am and even after the throngs had left, there was still much noise through the night, and bottle emptying outside our window early each morning..
Love this beautiful touristic town. Gorgeous crystal clear blue water and pristine white sand beaches. Lots of shops with beautiful locally handmade merchandise. Many traditional restaurants offering delicious traditional and nontraditional dishes.
The accommodations were nice. The people working there were very nice. The location was perfect. The chef and the food left a great deal to be desired. They are trying to be a fancy place. The first night we ordered dinner, my daughter asked to pasta with sauce, which was not on the menu. The waitress had to ask if it was ok to service that dish. My wife’s dish was served with her filets standing on their sides, as if they were swimming. My Salmon was smoked, like you would here in the US as a great deli. But I wasn’t at a deli. I was at a side-side resort on the corner of an Island. They should have served fresh fish and seafood. They should have served local dishes, typical for the region. One such dish would have been perhaps pasta with the red garlic. Or perhaps zucchini or zucchini flowers. It was way overboard for my liking. But the people there are great.
Great hotel. Great service. Great location. Free upgrade. Relaxed and nice staff. For this price, I'd bet it's the best in the area.
Really beautiful place. Sandy beach, great food, nice people. April was a great time to be there as there were very few tourist.
