Love the hotel, so clean, neat, and quit. Had great experience. It is my go to hotel, whenever I come to SF! I highly recommend this place, if you anyone is looking for a hotel.
I checked in with my girlfriend and enjoyed the area immensely
I stayed July 2019 in the private queen room and it was exactly like the photos, cute, clean, comfy bed and a nice clean bathroom. We were looking for a budget friendly option and this was definitely a good hotel for the price. The only issue we had was the lift broke when we arrived (we had to take our bags up some steep/narrow stairs) but the staff made sure it got fixed the next day. There is a bistro/bar next door which was great for quick easy meals on some of the nights we were exhausted and just wanted to eat and crash (also good options for breakfast). The area itself is busy and very close to the Bart station however it can be a slightly shady area. Neither of us felt comfortable walking around at night (felt fine during the day) however that might also be us not being used to the overall atmosphere of the Tenderloin. Overall if budget is your main concern and you are looking for the best bang for your buck this is a simple, cute and cosy private hotel room perfect for a few days in SF.
When we arrive around 6pm, whoever was in the front desk did not speak much English and told us that we cannot check-in. The front desk clerk is taking a break will come back after 8pm. so we asked to speak to someone else or manager who can actually help us. He would just say "no" refused to check us in and did not provide any contact. other person came in and said they cannot help us and told us to wait 2+hours or leave. we already booked and paid through online. we are requesting to speak to someone else and asked their names. one of them cursed at my partner while we are requesting help. This is not acceptable in any means. it was extremely humiliating, disturbing, and discriminating experience. we had no other choice other than waiting. our check-in time was at 3pm. this is NOT OKAY!!!
Spent here 4 nights and the location is perfect. Close to metro and car renting companies. Good room and friendly staff. Used their breakfast options a few times. Only tiny minus was the power of the shower, not the strongest.
