Reviews from visitors:
Hotel is gorgeous, old victorian era furniture to seal the experience. Rooms are small but quaint and beautiful, you're submerged in history and the staff are extraordinary and absolutely amazing, friendly and accommodating. It's a secure, safe entrance into the hotel with a paid parking area across the street, would recommend paying for the parking so no need to worry about finding or losing a spot. We couldn't be happier with our stay, so far the best experience in terms of stays in San Francisco so far.
Hotel is just like the pictures online! If you’re into history and don’t mind being thrown back in time for your stay this is for you. Also the bed was extremely comfortable! Price wasn’t bad at all. Yes some features of the room are out dated but it has everything you’d need. Not going to lie we were a bit scared at first (a ton of scary movies popped into my head) but nothing happened and we had a great stay. Breakfast was included the passion guava juice was amazing.
Imperfectly perfect.. An old but charming 1920'S turn of the century Redwood and oak building. This a boutique hotel not a five star high end place. Furnished in almost period pieces and a friendly staff and atmosphere. Great prices, parking, WI fi availible.. Only place I staff in SF.
Stayed here on a trip up north. The rooms were super clean and decorated really nicely. Michael was extra kind and even let us play the piano in the parlor room. I loved it so much I swung back around and stayed another night. Michael and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The continental breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. If you like unique places... this is an awesome experience.
We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to everyone I know! Our stay at this hotel was incredible! Our upgraded room was very clean, and the bed was super comfy. They have a nice clean pool, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. They sent up a delicious cake and a card for our anniversary.
