This place is bad a** we stayed here for the weekend to see the Dodgers vs the Padres had a great time with our balcony and only 8 minute walk to the stadium. There is a lot of detail in this hotel reminds me of the haunted mansion at Disneyland lol your right in the middle of gas lamp plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance i highly recommend staying here!!

I stayed for 5 nights for a business trip, and really enjoyed my stay at The Guild. Lindsey and Maria were friendly and happy to help with anything I needed. They really made me feel special and made my stay spectacular!
Their outdoor spaces are wonderful. I was able to work outside and enjoy the San Diego weather in comfort.
I did request to switch rooms because of the city noise at the start of the trip, and Lindsey was very accommodating and gave me a lower level room which was very quiet.
Overall, the staff cares about their guests and goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, and that is what makes you want to come back!

Great option. No frills, but comfortable efficiency apartment style makes a great value. Clean and comfortable. The kitchenette is reasonably stocked. I will use them again.

I stayed here and even extended my stay! The staff are very friendly and hospitable and great at answering any questions about the city. The location is really exciting. I really enjoyed staying in such a historical building and meeting new people. The owner works very hard to make sure all of the guests are happy!! I would absolutely stay here again.

This place is a masterpiece! Amenities aplenty and the staff is beyond fantastic. Travis at the front desk is perhaps the most personable hospitality expert I’ve ever encountered. I’ve stayed here twice now and would stay again. The hotel would receive 5 stars, except for they use a toilet paper that’s incredibly thin and rough. It’s the only overlooked detail at an otherwise immaculate place to stay.

I recommend the Bristol Hotel the front desk let me and my husband check in earlier then 3pm and let us check out at 1pm the following day the room was clean and stocked with towels, blankets. The down side is valet is $40.00 witch is a bit much but knowing your car is safe I guess makes it worth it in a way.. Overall experience was great.

Rooms are clean and stylish. A great place for couples to stay. The design inspiration comes from Ferrari. Very cool!

Loved the hotel, the style/decoration is very original. I had an issue with my reservation due to a slow processing payment from a hotel booking website, but it got resolved. I want to say special Thanks to Sarah for helping me and managing the situation :), she made me feel calm and safe, she found the solution and she was very attentive all the time.
I definitely recommend this place to stay.

Emily and Jeff were especially great! she is efficient and quick when checking in. I was very impressed by the lobby and the staff. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

So amazingly speechless, I don’t know where to start. My Fiancé and I were greeted right through the door and given Our room cards super early! The Front desk representative ‘Alan’ was everything you could possibly ask for. He was warm, friendly, respectful, and informative. He displayed the highest accommodation-oriented Customer care and Influential service. Highly recommend for Price/A+Service(THANK YOU ALAN)/ Location/Quality of Stay.

This playroom offers a choice of fun games that my daughter really enjoys. The employees are very good, and the place is very well-kept. It is easier to come in on a weekday to appreciate your child's calmness and on weekends to do without the noise. We still go there, and we are also asked by the children to go back. Finding a place in town where children can have fun and be safe is nice.
13 THE US GRANT, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Diego

The US Grant is by far the nicest hotel in San Diego. Beds & linens were the highlight — woke up each day of the trip feeling well rested and ready to enjoy all that San Diego had to offer.
Customer service was beyond all expectations. Lee Ann the concierge was so helpful with everything (recommendations for dining, etc.) and Dianna was kind enough to provide us with free upgrades for our rooms to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Valet and welcome staff were also superb — they are beyond dedicated to assisting you, so be nice to them!
Do not let the reviews about the water pressure deter you — you will LOVE your stay regardless.

Great hotel, very clean and amazing customer service. Check in is super easy, love the vibe of the hotel. They'll let you park in the valet area to unload your car, if you need to (we parked elsewhere to save money as it's $50 a day to park at the hotel, which is pretty on par for the area, but we wanted to save a few dollars). Great food options close by, and a quick 15 minute walk to get to the ferry for Coronado.
Had a King Spa room, and the tub WAS FABULOUS. Big enough for both my boyfriend and I to soak in together, and we're not tiny people. The bed was okay; could probably use an upgrade, but was comfortable enough to pass out on at the end of the night. I guess the only real negative was the location of our room. We were RIGHT next to the elevator AND the entrance to the pool/rooftop bar, so it got a little loud at times.
I will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips!

10/15/2020 Still a great place to stay, the older I get, the more I love this beautiful and historic building! Overdue for a window cleaning, but that's literally my only complaint. Great location and views!
Stopped by Gaslamp Plaza Suites to see my dad for his birthday. The rooftop is an awesome place to just hang out and see the sights of downtown. The rooms are nice too. This used to be an office building and it's really cool to see how the retro fitted a hotel into the building. I can't wait to stay here myself!

Clean and beautiful hotel! I will award this hotel a 5-star ranking. So far, they were the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in for a vacation. The swimming pool was clean and wet. The room I stayed in was so clean and cool. The bathroom was so tidy and smells so sweet. The staffs were so helpful and welcoming. It's highly recommended!

The hotel is unique, eclectic, has a modern industrial feel. Generally, comfortable, but not so much for the business traveler. The beds are queens and comfortable. The bathroom makes the room, smart use of space and large shower. I gave it a 4 because of the amenities that hotels are traditionally known for, specifically Marriott properties that are not available here. There are no closets or no hangers. Important when a wrinkle free appearance counts. There are pegs on the wall to hang clothes from. There is a steamer in room, but nowhere to hang them for steaming. There is no drawer space. So basically you live directly out of your suitecase. This is not the end of the world, but really no where to store your suitcase. There is no in room coffee, but there is coffee in the lobby. Staff is friendly, a great bar. But I really think it going to be more about personal preference and expectations. This description is not fully explained on my company or Marriott site. So just be aware the Moxy style may not be for everyone.

The room was clean and spacious. (We had a deluxe king.) However, I was disappointed in that they placed us right off the elevator and you could hear everything that everyone was saying as they were coming and going. We weren't going to ask to switch rooms since it was only one night. Regardless, one would hope that they wouldn't put guests in less than ideal rooms when they are no where near capacity. I later realized that they are well aware of the noise level that carries into the rooms because there is a big sign by the elevators that ask people to be quiet (in a nicer manner).
Overall, all of the employees that we encountered were nice and professional and the rooms were super clean.

Extremely Nice Hotel with a Luxury feel. The room was Super clean, and big open bathroom. Safety precautions in place. However, the refrigerator was locked so I couldn't put my water and tea in it to keep chilled.

We stayed there for one night during our trip and overall, we were satisfied. Room was a little small and it smelled like marijuana , which I think was from our neighbor. But I loved the shampoo and conditioner in the room! It was the first time my curly hair was happy with something in a hotel.
