I recommend the Bristol Hotel the front desk let me and my husband check in earlier then 3pm and let us check out at 1pm the following day the room was clean and stocked with towels, blankets. The down side is valet is $40.00 witch is a bit much but knowing your car is safe I guess makes it worth it in a way.. Overall experience was great.
Great staff and room! Very clean and cute with a nice city view. The only downside is their parking. They only have vallet parking which is around $40 per night. I will probably not be back due to parking. Street parking is hard to find and also I wasn't sure how safe it was.
Hotel was clean and smelled great. Employee Rose was very helpful and accommodating when me and my mom wanted rooms next door to each other.Now once night time came the hotel did get very cold and the thermostat didn’t work correctly, hotel staff at night wasn’t helpful at all. When asking for extra covers because of the cold they told me that I would have to come get them myself because they only had 1 employee on staff. The second night I asked for more towels and I got the same response. Overall my stay wasn’t so bad, I’m guessing the shortness of staff is due to Covid-19. How ever this doesn’t excuse the employees unwillingness to compromise and help out the guess.
Fantastic visit, excellent hosts, and everything provided for our comfort. They also gave a welcome drink, tea/ coffee in room, comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom. Superb dinner, at least Masterchef standard at a reasonable price. I cannot find fault with anything and would even recommend a detour to visit this place.
Nice, clean and simple rooms. There was some loud pipe noises after every flush.
$40 parking fee, but that is understandable with lack of street parking. Walking distance from Gaslamp, would stay again.
