Reviews from visitors:
I had a great experience here, made good friends, and would love to come back. I only stayed for two nights but there are many people who co-live and stay for weeks or months. Everyone was very friendly and I love that this hostel has events so that it’s easy to meet people.
Free breakfast = make your own pancakes and eggs which I thought was pretty awesome!
They have surfboards and wetsuits that you can rent.
If you don’t want to stay the night but want to hang and meet people, you can buy a day pass.
The best location you can ask for, and at a great rate! The staff and guests are all very friendly, Bevy is the best! The hostel has just about everything you need to live comfortably while here. The beach is literally just outside the door, and the deck has the best sunset views you can ask for.
The staff does a daily clean and sweep of each room to help keep the sand out and facilities clean. Any extra cleaning is easily requested and handled quickly.
I've had an amazing stay here. Absolutely love this place. The staff has always been incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about your stay with them. I've stayed here multiple times and keep coming back because the people I meet here are fun, open minded, and love the beach. Thank you for the amazing times! Highly recommend!
Location on the beach. Met lots of friendly people, made several new friends. $35/night includes breakfast of eggs, pancakes that you make n kitchen and lounge. Ran out of eggs twice. Volunteers are the receptionists. D
I had a terrible time here with my girlfriend. Their was loud music playing until midnight which made it impossible to sleep. Also a surplus of alcoho was found in the bunk rooms. The restrooms were very unsanitary, underdeveloped and were falling apart. Coming from out of state I was very hopeful to experience a good time here at this hotel based on the pictures I saw on the internet, however in reality the hostel was very bad. There was no social distancing upon arrival and no safety measures in place. The staff at this bungalow did not comply with covid-19 safety measures at all and neither did any of the guests. Not only did I feel unsafe, I also felt that this place promotes underage drinking because there was alcohol in the bunk rooms. I ended up having to find lodging elsewhere for my safety and the front desk agent refused to help.
I would warn upcoming travelers to look elsewhere for accommodateable lodgings.
