Extremely Nice Hotel with a Luxury feel. The room was Super clean, and big open bathroom. Safety precautions in place. However, the refrigerator was locked so I couldn't put my water and tea in it to keep chilled.
We had a great time. The hotel is close to everything and everyone is super helpful. Everytime we walked in was offered a water. The room was nice and had a great view. Recommend this location for your stay in San Diego
Pros:
-Location is close to Gaslamp, parking, and public transportation.
-Staff is genuine, kind, and prompt.
-Shower water is responsive to change in temps.
Cons:
-Location is loud including traffic, train, and party goers.
-Rooms are tiny with poor layout of furniture and outdated electronics.
-Walls are super thin, expect to your neighbors in bed and in the shower.
-Halls are loud with party goers until 1am regardless of hotel policy.
-Bed is subpar with mildly itchy sheets and towels.
Overall the staff do what they can to accommodate the sounds of downtown San Diego, but be aware that it's not for children or the elderly. I was awoken by neighbors having a go at 7am and can hear everything perfectly through the walls including the shower pipes. Hotel guests were often partying in the hallways and the room doors sound like mini car crashes throughout the night.
If you want to rage and not sleep, Omni is your spot.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel and rooms. I was expecting it to look nice but it went bryond my expectations. Will be back again for sure.
Beautiful hotel. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable. We will certainly stay there again.
