This is a lovely modern and clean hotel with nice amenities. It's so pretty! It feels new. The front desk is wonderful. The staff are going out of their way to ensure cleanliness. Housekeeping is limited right now due to COVID, but the staff was quick to respond to our request for fresh towels. Bath robes and slippers are a nice touch. Floor to ceiling windows, comfortable beds and pillows. The furniture in the rooms is also nice. I recommend 100%.
Loved staying at this hotel to kick off the year! The rooms are lovely and I especially love the bathroom design! The elevators are touch screen so it allows you to know which elevator bay to wait for. The only thing about the hotel is that I wish the pool was warmer! (Fitness and rooftop bar closed when we went). The location is great in Little Italy. It allowed us to explore the food and such in the area!
I understand paying $45 a night for parking if it was for valet, but not for self parking. I shouldn’t have to call the front desk every time I wanted to get back into the garage. Biggest inconvenience besides the tight parking spaces. This is on top of the feces smell on both -1 and -2 level of the garage that lingered into the elevator regardless of what floor you were on. I’ve stayed at this hotel back when it opened in September 2019, and I wish it upheld the same quality.
Ive had extraordinary service in this hotel until our third visit, where we were treated very poorly. The security guard is a man who has no respect or knows how to use his authority. He spoke rudely to my 5 year old brother and lacked the respect and professionalism of a authority figure and representative of this hotel. They treated us poorly and didn’t allow of the comfort of being able to comfortably spend time as a family. Horrible Visit to carte Curio downtown San Diego
I have been a part of the Hilton brand hotels for many years but this Curio band has truly let me down, 1st I choose my room online which told me it was a bay view room but when I arrived it had been changed and there was no possible view of anything from my room. Then I was told parking was full and I had to find street parking in downtown San Diego?
After all that I get to my room and I hear the people next to my room clear and there kids bumping against the joining room door, finally I notice I didn’t have face towels and call to inquire and was told the hotel ran out of towels...
It my be time to find a better brand for hotels.
