I stayed for 5 nights for a business trip, and really enjoyed my stay at The Guild. Lindsey and Maria were friendly and happy to help with anything I needed. They really made me feel special and made my stay spectacular!
Their outdoor spaces are wonderful. I was able to work outside and enjoy the San Diego weather in comfort.
I did request to switch rooms because of the city noise at the start of the trip, and Lindsey was very accommodating and gave me a lower level room which was very quiet.
Overall, the staff cares about their guests and goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, and that is what makes you want to come back!
THE GUILD IS A DREAM!!! As a wedding photographer, I always get excited when clients want to shoot at the Guild. As a person who has been there for pleasure as well, the cocktails and service are also Top Notch. The entire space is so SO beautiful with so many fun and quirky details round every corner. And then the velvet!! Every color of glorious velvet can be found somewhere in this magical place. The rooms are all stunning and the courtyard gets perfect light. Whenever anyone asks for a recommendation of a place to stay, getting ready or even to have their whole wedding at, the Guild Hotel is always at the top of my list!
My husband and I stayed 3 nights. This is a beautiful decorated hotel. Our room was clean and the staff was super friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again in the near future.
Fantastic hotel. Everything is new and incredibly clean. It is also in the perfect location, making it quick and easy to get to all the best bars and restaurants. The jewel in the hotel's crown is the hotel manager, Toms. He went above and beyond. Always making us feel at home during our stay. He also took the time to recommend great places to where to go during our visit. A+
The place is clean and has potential BUT....
Horrible staff! Unhelpful in every way! I’d rather stay in a homeless shelter on the floor, no joke. My advice is to find another property to enjoy your stay in San Diego.
If you want a better experience than I did don’t expect any hospitality.
Oh and what’s up with their sink? lol
