Reviews from visitors:
Overall, I would recommend looking at other places to stay versus the experience I had. First the rooms are somewhat remodeled so the appearance is nice. You're located in the east of the gas lamp district so it's just a walk down the street.
Value wise there's a lot of improvement. First the room was so dusty as if no one was in the room for months even though there was a card stating it was cleaned.
The rooms have no mini fridge so just a warning. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and wouldn't drain.
**The walls were terribly thin and you can hear conversions down the hallway. If you expect to get a comfortable night's sleep guess again. Either the slamming of doors or just casual conversations you'll hear it all.
Reservations is a mess. I called to confirm my reservation and I was told that it was not what I booked because I didn't book directly from their site. They made the notes to accommodate what I originally requested but when I arrived there were no notes and the room type was wrong. Then they tried to sell me over the phone a special birthday deal to book more of their rooms.
So the price you may pay, you may be quite disappointment in the accommodations.
**One good note is that you can park on the street if you find a spot instead of paying their self parking nightly fee.
The staff here are absolutely amazing! They were all so willing to help and always have positive attitudes. My room was immaculate and the view I had was amazing. The best hotel experience I've ever had.
We stayed here for my wife's birthday, I called the day of the reservation and Spencer not only help me get the room upgraded but also had a birthday card with a bottle of wine and some candies waiting in the room. Upon arrival pat checked us in and was more than willing to help with anything throughout our stay. These guys make this hotel shine! Thanks again!
I would have given 5 stars but when my boyfriend and I arrived the front desk clerk told us that their parking garage was full.
So we had to walk to the next block and pay $25 for public parking.
So I would recommend that you call ahead and ask if they can reserve a spot for you especially if your on your way it won't hurt to ask.
Otherwise, very nice building, very clean, lots of hand sanitizing stations.
Front desk clerk was very kind and gave us a parking pass for the next day.
Centralized in the city, however we can hear the elevator from our room, there isn’t a fridge or microwave in the room making it hard to bring back food to the room. Our room was on the street side so we had a lot of street noise early in the morning. Also one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the 2 restaurants on property, however, they were both closed during our stay. The bar is only open on Fri-Sun so we didn’t get to use it at all. The staff is very nice.
