Fantastic place by its location, architecture and poetry. The photos of its rebuild in the hall is a very humanitarian museum of conservative measures to save old buildings. They pictured the workers doing their contributions. The antique air in the halls and buildings brings a colonial style to life.

once had the best breakfast in town... beds could be more comfortable

Unique and cozy. Polite and helpful staff. Art at each spot. Delicious typical breakfast, specially the " bolinho de estudante". Perfect for tourists, families, and corporative events for a different experience. Everyone should visit!

I visited the hotel back in 1995, and have the best memories. I would love to be able to visit it again.

I had a great stay at this charming cosy hotel, which is clearly run by people who care about other people. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast are pluses.
