Stayed here for one night before getting our accommodation sorted.
Staff pleasant. Room clean and tidy. Only problem. Room 510, the shower.... Or should I say bath. The bathroom has a shower over the bath with a faucet fixing to change between shower or bath functions. However all combinations will run the shower while the bath is running. No compromise.
A very nice hotel which is as close to the beach as you could want. We stayed in July and almost everything was superb. The food, reception service, bar service and the pool were all excellent. The only downside to our time there was a problem with the power. This seemed to affect the air conditioning in the reception, bar and restaurant areas of the hotel and made it uncomfortable for a few days.
At 9am the pool open like a scene from the start grand national , by 9:10 no sun bed left and not a sole to be seen. They've now taken up their breakfast, which again turns into a bun fight. Bag are being stuffed with food, to to make sure the late comers don't have anything to eat.
This was such a nice place to stay, but alas it's another hotel that lacks management of the facilities. On a plus side the pool side is kept very tidy, I did notice this from our balcony.
The hotel is nice inside, better than some in the area. If you like food, especially bacon floating in grease then this is the place for you. There is a Free safe in all the rooms. No tea making facilities, this could be due to the Electric sockets being blocked off or not working. The cleaning staff did a good job but never acknowledged you with a welcome. The bar prices are reasonable. International channels on the TV but only CNBC in English and this has a really bad pictures. The hotel is close to the beach and bus stops.
4 star hotel that does not deserve more than 3 stars. They charge you for using a fridge that is placed in the room you are already paying. They have a great pool that is maintained great (hotel should definitely consider hiring help because the guy in charge of the pool area is above and beyond involved in keeping it perfect), but you are not allowed to enter the pool area before 9. Rooms are not cleaned properly, we stayed for 7 nights and the cleaning person did not remove empty shampoo and gel shower bottles from the edge of our bath, which means she did not clean it for 7 days. We had dirty sheets for 2 days and it was changed only after we took them off and left on the floor. Restaurant has terrible management and awful rules, for example: you cannot bring a bag inside (even though you plan to go to the beach after the meal and you carry your stuff), or take one piece of fruit out of the restaurant. Not to mention that the tables are very slowly cleaned. And let’s not forget that the hotel was full of english speaking guests, and most of the hotel staff does not speak english well.
